Animal Being called an animal is often a derogatory comment. You are seen as subhuman, stupid, crude, out-of-control, mad, etc. The truth is surely the opposite? Which is the most destructive animal? Surely it is the human? Animals are surely far more noble than us (current humanity)? Animals are surely far more present, being in their bodies, attuned to instincts (e.g. Attachment Parenting and Culture of Touch)? We humans have this noble animal body, but we do not honour it or look after it. We take the animal instincts and often wreak destruction. These articles are designed to show the nobility of the animal - out there and the animal in us.

Denying this, separating our selves and disconnecting from this is starting to seem more and more at our peril. Our relationship with the millions of non-human lives we use is very much part of our existence." (Andrea Arnold, cited at The Guardian, posted and accessed 7 July 2021) Resources
