Hand Many people are cold and without love, lacking all warmth and light, yet the poor things think that they are going to make a success of their lives! Well no, they must first get used to becoming alive, and the only way to become alive is by learning to love – there are exercises we can do for this too. What exercises? Here is a very easy one. Choose a moment when no one can see you, raise your hand, project all your love towards the earth and sky, to the angels, to the Lord, and say, ‘I love you, I love you, I want to be in harmony with you.’ In this way, you get into the habit of emanating something vibrant and intense, just like a spring, like the sun. People always believe that they can hide behind a grim face, expressing neither love nor goodness, not realizing how pernicious this attitude is, as much for themselves as for others. They must learn to express love in order to become alive, so that their face, their gaze – their very presence – emanate life. (O.M. Aïvanhov)  |
