Influencer Even if you are not aware of it, everything around you influences you. The important thing is to become aware of precisely this fact so you can work constructively on yourself. As soon as you sense that a creature, an object or a natural phenomenon has a positive effect on you, make a conscious effort to open your inner doors to allow these influences to penetrate deep within you. If you do not open yourself up, even the best things will remain ineffective; they will not touch you. Go to a gushing spring or fountain and imagine that it is gushing and flowing within you. Go to the sun, contemplate it, open yourself up to it, so that it may awaken all the warmth and light of your inner spiritual sun. Go to the flowers and ask them the secret of their colour and their scent, and listen to them so that you, too, may learn to extract the most fragrant quintessence from your heart and soul. (O.M.
